Masonic Candy

Quick, Low Budget Fundraiser Idea

Masonic Candy or Masonic Ice Molds

Making Masonic candy is a quick and fun way to raise money for your lodge.

Here is a super easy recipe for Masonic Emblem Cream Cheese Mints.

  • 1 - 4 ounce package of Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 2-1/2 cups of powdered sugar
  • A few drops of green or blue food coloring
  • A few drops of peppermint oil (2-3 drops or to taste)
  • Masonic square and compasses molds
  • Pam vegetable oil spray
  • A small bowl of sugar

Place all 4 ingredients into a bowl.  Mix together.  The mixture should be very thick, similar to bread dough.

Knead well for a few minutes until mixture is consistent and not lumpy.

Spray the insides of each Masonic mold with Pam so the mints will be easy to remove from the molds.

(You can find inexpensive, new Masonic Emblem Chocolate Candy Molds on Amazon.com).

Make a small ball of mixture.  Place into granulated sugar.  Put the sugar side down into the mold.

Press it in.  Flip the mold over to unmold your Masonic mints.

Masonic molds can also be used to make chocolate, Masonic soap or Masonic (square and compasses) ice.

A bed of Square and Compasses Masonic ice looks particularly nice under cold boiled shrimp, too.

Wrap and sell your Masonic candy to lodge members during refreshment, during an open lodge event, to take home to wives and families or at a bake sale.
